Lisa's passion for garden design was ignited when she met her partner Lee, he had already established his career in the horticultural and landscaping industries. Lisa started her career in design after raising four children, she wanted to find a career that was enjoyable and flexible to fit around her family life.
Lisa is skilled in creating unique outdoor spaces that are tailored to the individual needs and desires of her clients. With her keen eye for detail and her ability to seamlessly blend contemporary and cottage style elements, Lisa's gardens are both beautiful and functional. Her passion for art and design is evident in her ability to incorporate elements of nature into her designs, creating a sense of harmony and balance in the outdoor spaces she creates. Whether it's a small backyard or a large commercial property, Lisa's approach is always personal, creative and professional. Marc Harbourne-Bessant

As a young boy, Marc would watch his Dad tend to his magnificent hanging baskets, filled with overflowing fuchsias and petunias. He saw the joy that was gained from tending to a garden, as well as the joy and delight it filled those who saw it. He also saw the innovation in creating an interesting garden, from turning upcycled cooking pots and horse feeders into planters, to building a cold-frame from bricks reclaimed from a skip.
Marc is passionate about reusing and repurposing materials and plants where possible, emphasising the unique characteristics and maintaining the links within the space. He isn't a huge fan of overly symmetrical and formal gardens, instead preferring naturalistic and 'cottage' style gardens with quirky, hidden features. He is inspired by designers like Piet Oudolf, with a focus on the organic development of a garden and highlighting the beauty in decay and regeneration. Marc enjoys learning about other garden design traditions, in particular those from Japan and the Islamic tradition.
Marc lives in Birmingham with his husband Darryl and three cats. In his spare time he enjoys gathering inspiration from National Trust gardens, as well as tending to his own Victorian-terraced garden.

Our process begins with an initial consultation, during which our experienced designers visit the customer's house or chosen location. This consultation is chargeable, and it serves as a crucial step where we engage in a detailed discussion about the client's preferences and vision for their outdoor space. Additionally, we conduct soil tests and light tests to gather essential information about the site's conditions. Using cutting-edge technology like Moasure 3D scanner, we map the area to ensure precision in our design approach.

Following the consultation, we provide the client with an itemized proposal that includes a comprehensive scope of work. Alongside the proposal, we present a design brief that encapsulates the envisioned landscape. This proposal is a detailed document that outlines the design elements, materials to be used, and the overall project plan.

Furthermore, during the consultation stage, we offer an optional feature to present mood boards at an additional cost. These mood boards serve as visual collages that capture the aesthetic and thematic elements of the proposed design. Incorporating colour palettes, material samples, and inspirational images, mood boards provide clients with a tangible and immersive experience, helping them better connect with the design vision.

If the client decides to move forward with our services, we embark on a thorough process. This includes conducting necessary searches for utilities to ensure a seamless implementation of the design. Our team creates hand-drawn schematics and planting plans, and 3D water colour renders offering a visual representation of the proposed landscape. A detailed design document and a bill of materials are also provided, equipping the client with valuable information for project management and budgeting.
